The memory of the emotions makes chimerical temptations.

Dear to the environment of the farm, with a team of animation, always very feminine, the temptation to make vibrate the intense moments between hosts and visitors. Through artistic evenings or meetings, say we. To leave on a journey, to meet people, to live the local life, to share the emotions, to find yourselves through the landscapes, colors, odors and personage… All these bonds which link the travellers with the visited country.

Organized events at La Ferme du Colvert:

  • Traditional evenings, around fire, where ethnic dances at the /rhythm of the Muong gongs played by the women of the village. Songs and contemporary music of young students who come especially from the Hanoi Conservatory.
  • Water puppet shows, invented by a monk in the past, are now carried out by a group of amateurs of the region of Hoa Binh. Inherited from ancestral trades, these villagers also became the specialists in manufacturing puppets from wood of jacque. The Go Mit, a wood which is specially resistant to water and the insects.
  • The 1st international improvisation art festival in which young Vietnamese, Japanese, German and French-speaking artists participated and the occasional one of the Asia Summit - Europe, were organized in last October 2004 in Vietnam with the helps of  Goethe Institure, of L’Espace – French cultural center, the British consulate and Vietnamese services of the Culture.
  • A photographs and paintings exhibition, around the topic which is dear to us "High Tonkin and its minorities" in last autumn - season of rice harvests.
  • A place of meetings between Vietnamese, French and French-speaking artists and painters. Our living rooms are decorated by the young Vietnamese fresco artist Pham Ngoc Duong who decorated the walls of L’Espace and of the French arts centre located in downtown of Hanoi.
  • Our projects to invite painters to travel and to solidify their emotions through their alert brushes. Voyages close to nature, tradition and population. These out-of-time approches, in our lost mountains, are undoubtedly of rich feelings and discoveries, of savory agreements and suggestd dreams.
  • It’s also that responding to our invitation recently, the young French women painters (always feminine), who carried out their dream from childhood "almost a return to the sources". Virginia Delignière, woman painter of reputation in Normandy and June Pietra, young student-artist from the South of France, told us to have almost reached the harmony. Harmony of self, harmony of nature, harmonizes between oneself and others. Some of their chiefs work are currently exhibited in our living room.
