Welcome to la ferme du Colvert
Among pools, ponds, streams and fishermen nets
We based our resort on a eco-tourism spirit.
All our houses are well integrated to the environment, surrounded by a small Muong village. They set all around the Dap Dom lake and on top of its hills. The materials used are locals as the pink or grey granite, bamboo or wood. Opened on the nature, no fences, peasants from the village passing nearby walking back from their ricefields ...
The owner of the resort found their inspiration through every day life scenery of this villagers. They bought the traditional houses from the villages around and built them again in la ferme. They renovated the country houses already on their land and created neo-colonial houses inspired from north traditional stilt houses.
All the houses are decorated with authentic and traditional furniture, traditional embroiderie, potery display on our terrasses and garden. Among lake, pound, rivers and fishermen nets ... During a sunset on the Dap Dom lake, you will enjoy watching a sampan quietly going along the lake. The rice crops, 2 times per year – may and october – are celebrated by all the villages around. You might be invited by the peasant to help them to harvest. After it, along the roads of any villages, you will see the terrasses and road-sides covered of rice drying under the sun.
