Garden Spa. With it’s entirely reforested hills (10ha with lakes), dominating the Dap Dom Lake and it’s green banks with a view over the mountain and surrounding ricefields....La ferme offers visitors/sports-loving individuals alike - tennis courts, swimming pool, sports centre, curative nature centre....breathing fresh air and movement within nature....what more could you ask for? Which treatment do you dream of…? This summer we will be setting up our Spa area in the heart of the garden....next to the swimming pool with it’s waterfall that feeds the nearby stream during monsoon season. A large Bamboo cabin with blinds, bordering the fishpond....a welcoming treatment and massage area surrounded by Blueberry flowers, Hoa Hue (beautifully fragrant lilies) and brightly coloured butterflies....exotic essential oils and honey....the bees that make the honey feed on strongly scented flowers such as the Longan and Litchi trees....which are known in the region to be lucky. Dedicated to sensual pleasures, our traditional sauna is used every year for the ritual shower before Tet, the Vietnamese New Year. The hamman/sauna with it’s steam of Bamboo leaves, Lemongrass, Grapefruit, Coriander grains, Orange blossom, aromatic herbs and Bo Ket....a mixture which is simmered for a long time in large pots, over a wooden fire, is renowned for it’s therapeutic properties - especially for rheumatism (by burning it and breathing in the steam..). Pure water, a ground water source that has been drilled (to a depth of 60m underground) is used in the sauna/hamman. All this, emanating a relaxing, country-style, way of living. La ferme….dedicated to well-being and the art of living.... This option is combined with short, morning treks and other sports, with fitness and balneotherapy in the Our specialised Vietnamese hostesses, friendly and gentle, are here to help you recharge your batteries in the heart of this beautiful area. They offer a range of services: swimming with aquagymn, massage, sauna and body treatments..for the face - rose petals, ylang ylang, jasmin and lotus pollen are just some of the beautifully natural ingredients used. Our small Beauty salon also offers hair and face care treatments. Not forgetting an elaborate evening dinner....followed with an infusion, as in olden days....here infusions of green tea, lemongrass, passionflower, ginger..are drunk with family and/or friends..during convivial moments....around a fire....as in days gone-by.
