Ethos of our Therapeutic-massage training.

The goal of this training is not to get a therapist’s diploma but rather to learn about how to relax and be in touch with yourself and others... At peace with yourself first, because in this fast-paced modern life we often forget about taking some time out for ourselves to cleanse our mind and body....but, how do we achieve this peace, of being in harmony with ourselves and our environment? Firstly, we change the environment we’re in, either through meditation or literally....a relaxing, soothing environment - somewhere that holds a place in your heart...forget about what you have to do, refocus and just be....

At the Nature Spa in La ferme du Colvert, you’ll find an environment conducive to relaxation..Here, mother nature will look after you, this reconnection with nature will put everything into context again....The Health-Detente area at La ferme du Colvert is surrounded with luxuriant vegetation, where the mountain inspires meditation. Our traditional stilt houses erected near the Dap Dom Lake integrate themselves naturally, with refinement and sobriety, into this idyllic landscape..., where nature will show you the way to relaxation and contentment.

Vietnamese massage or Muong well-being treatments.

You will be able to learn the basic movements of some Vietnamese massage techniques, as well as getting to know some Muong well-being treatments. The idea isn’t to make you a specialist of a particular technique but rather to provide you with the means of being able to give a regenerating and relaxing massage. You will have the chance to choose the massage technique that you’re most interested in and delve a little deeper.

Our team is made up of experienced, qualified massage therapists and also of locals from the Muong ethnic minority in Hoa Binh, who come both, to perfect certain techniques and also to share their knowledge of massage techniques passed down from their ancestors. This particular approach instills a certain serenity.... participation and connection....a sharing of one’s knowledge and experiences. We also welcome other therapists, who wish to share their knowledge!

By the medium of massage, you’ll be able to liberate and lighten the soul, creating a positive aura which lies in each one of us. This training will enable you to expand and share this aura with your close ones, so that they too, can benefit from this happiness.

The osteopath, Marie-Hélène Gauthier.

Your trainer, Marie-Hélène Gauthier, has used alternative medicine for the last 15 years. From massage therapist to osteopath, she is today an active member of the F.Q.M (Fédération Québecoise des massothérapeutes) -  Massage-therapist Federation of Quebec and the C.P.O.Q (Corporation des professionnels ostéopathes du Québec) - Corporation of Professional Osteopaths of Quebec.

She knows the other practitioner from Quebec, Serge Parenteau - a masseur-kinesitherapist and they will eventually be doing the training course together.

If you wish, Marie-Hélène will take you through a health check at the beginning of your stay and guide you in the direction of the best techniques you should know. She can also guide you in ways to look after your general well-being for the future.
